Learn more about the Veturi companies and programs:
ANDRITZ Oy’s BioCircleToZero program aims to improve resource efficiency in the forest industry by developing pulp and bioprocessing plants that convert currently wasted side streams and biogenic CO₂ into high-value, sustainable bioproducts. The goal is to double the value of bioproducts per ton of pulp, achieve zero-emission and zero-waste production processes, and build an innovative ecosystem of over 100 actors to promote sustainable forest industry practices without increasing deforestation.
Nokia’s Veturi program ‘LEAD’ promotes the usability, security, and energy efficiency of the future internet and industrial metaverse by integrating the physical and virtual worlds. As data traffic and cyber threats are expected to rise, a radical transformation of telecommunications networks is required — an area where Finland has strong expertise. The LEAD program is built on three pillars:
- Security and sustainable development, emphasizing transparent and energy-efficient cybersecurity;
- Interoperability and adaptive telecommunications networks, enabling seamless collaboration between systems and technologies in metaverse environments; and
- Standardization and commercialization, creating scalable global solutions and accelerating the adoption of new technologies.
The aim is to establish a Finnish center of excellence that spans the entire industrial metaverse value chain and supports the international growth of related businesses.
